Not for nothing, but Fat Joe's original rap name was Fat Joe da Gangsta. Although he changed his name in 1995, there's a very good reason why he originally had the last part. Simply put, Joey Crack has had his fair share of...let's call them less-than-friendly physical altercations. With his new album, The Darkside Vol. 1, in stores today, we decided to take a look back at a few of our favorite Fat Joe throwdowns with 300 Brolic: A History of Fat Joe's (Alleged) Altercations. Pap did not fuck joe up. listen to the casssidy interview with miss jones. pap sucker punched joe and he got fucked up. and his man's caught a buck50 across the jaw. pap lost his expensive watch too. the beef was later sqashed later that night and joe gave him back his watch due to their mutual friend Kay Slay.

Why are we celebrating the street cred of one of the most middle of the road rappers ever? Half his "altercations" are random club fights with his own crew smh. Btw that Papoose eye jammy pretty much nullifies this whole post...that ain't gangsta

I remember reading an interview with Fif back in '99 and he mentioned The Terror Squad and made some disparaging remarks about them so I'm guessing this beef goes back a bit further.

There's a another theory concerning Masta Ace and Fat Joe. I read this years ago that Masta Ace was supposedely making fun of Latin rappers, and thats why Joe ran up on him.

fat joe has been in many beefs that yall didnt even get he had beef with ice cube...he has had alot to prove to the hip hop community who is mostly african american just like how eminem had to prove himself as a lyricist....but joey crack gets it poppin... gs-arcade
