The Brooklyn band comprised of instrumentalist Derek Miller and vocalist Alexis Krauss caught our attention when early demos of theirs started leaking late last year. We were captivated by the brash, unique sound on records like "Infinity Guitars" and "A/B Machines," but in the era of buzz bands who disappear before most people have even heard of them, we didn't know what to expect from Sleigh Bells in the future. Several months and one huge M.I.A. co-sign later, the duo has solidified themselves as a force to be reckoned with Treats, one of the best albums of the year. It's loud, distorted, irresistibly catchy, unlike anything you've ever heard before.
