MC Hammer Wears A Speedo For "Pumps and a Bump"

If there were ever a video that made one wish for more parachute pants, it would probably be "Pumps and a Bump." Dismissed as a pop artist years earlier, MC Hammer decided to come back harder than ever. Literally. Barely hiding his, um, hammer in a zebra-striped Speedo, he bumped and grinded on the backsides of a bunch of poolside women at a Hammertime house party. The video was deemed "too graphic'" (read: "too erection-y'") for MTV, so a second video was shot with Deion Sanders. Still, MC Hammer never recovered, and soon the house, women, and Deion Sanders were all gone.

i'm so sick and tired of people bashing this album. there was nothing wrong with this album. was it different? Yes, but that doesn't make it bad. everyone shot common with bullets for this album being different, but if it wasn't for this album, would we get a Speakerbox?Love Below? would we get a Kid Cudi, and the countless other artist in hip hop that think and do things outside the box when it comes to hip hop

the fact that this got #10 alone shows just how smart Charles was for doing this... any kind of buzz be it for you or against you is good buzz. and that's what charles got from this... def not more embarrassing than Game losing on Change of Heart hahahah.
