It's almost been a year since The xx burst onto the music scene with their eponymous debut album, so we assume you're up on the British trio (as of November 2009, when their keyboardist quit) by now. If not, you should be. They've been through all the rights of passage of any instantly popular indie: commercial and TV show placement, crucial late night TV performances, etc. They just dropped this odd little video for their dope single, "Islands", and even if you're not feeling the sound, it's hard to front on their mean all-black-everything steez.
