Ricky Martin points himself out as someone he always suspected was gay.
Monday, Puerto Rican pop singer Ricky Martin revealed that his Latin Explosion is reserved for dudes. In a blog post on his web site, he wrote that he is a "fortunate homosexual man" and that living in the closet anymore would "diminish the glow that [his] kids were born with." Dunno about you, but we were shocked—that this was news to anyone. Seriously, who didn't know that the "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer was gay? This picture wasn't as bold a declaration as a rainbow flag? Or this one? The fact that he has two sons born to a surrogate mother in 2008 didn't tip us off? Sure, 'cause lots of straight guys want kids without the icky annoyance of having to put their penis in a vagina. Anyway, pretty Ricky joins a proud group of celebrities who really didn't need to come out for us to know they're gay.
