The 2AWK
Luther Campbell's bold stab at the white-rap market, The 2AWK (pronounced "talk," but standing for "2 Average White Kids"...which made no sense seeing as how there were six dudes in the group) took an aggro no-justice-no-peace stance, as so many early-'90s white rappers did to prove how down they were for the cause. One cat sounded vaguely Pete Nice-ish, but the Hank Shocklee-lite production ended up making the whole thing sound more like knockoff than knockout. AWK-waaaaard...

I don't know what you mean by "One Hit Wonder". Asher's entire album was HOT!!!! I am a black woman who in the past has only given props to Eminem & Everlast, but Asher had the best producers and released an album that was off the chain!
