Sole
About as far from Solé as you can get, Sole is a Portland, ME-born, Bay Area-residing white rapper (as opposed to the Kansas City-born, Ginuwine-marrying black female rapper). Sole co-founded the indie label Anticon in '97, recorded more than a half-dozen albums over the years, and had a taped-phone convo-beef with El-P. That's quite a career for a white rapper—although we have to admit, we'd really prefer that it was Solé who'd had the beef with El-P. It might not have ended so humiliatingly as with El-P's response, "Linda Tripp."

I don't know what you mean by "One Hit Wonder". Asher's entire album was HOT!!!! I am a black woman who in the past has only given props to Eminem & Everlast, but Asher had the best producers and released an album that was off the chain!
