Half-Egyptian, half Russian Jew, but all hip-hop: Ali Dee started as a breakdancer, moved on as a producer with the Bomb Squad, and eventually ended up rapping on a 1993 debut album that's pretty much all on that diggity-Das tip. These days, Ali's quietly caking off in Hollywood as the composer of soundtrack music for films such as Transformers, Jumper, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and Speed Racer. Hey, we never said they were good movies.

I don't know what you mean by "One Hit Wonder". Asher's entire album was HOT!!!! I am a black woman who in the past has only given props to Eminem & Everlast, but Asher had the best producers and released an album that was off the chain!
