Donald Trump Can't Even Spell Wife's Name Right, Welcomes 'Melanie' Home From the Hospital

It appears that Donald Trump can't even spell the First Lady's name right.

In a tweet welcoming Melania Trump back to the White House from the hospital, the President tweeted a brief update on her health with one very large typo. "Great to have our incredible First Lady back home in the White House. Melanie is feeling and doing really well. Thank you for all of your prayers and best wishes!" Trump tweeted.

He was quick to remove the tweet and fix the glaring typo, but he wasn't fast enough for people on the internet not to notice and grab screenshots.

Great to have our incredible First Lady back home in the White House. Melania is feeling and doing really well. Thank you for all of your prayers and best wishes!

Trump's most prominent legacy to date may just be his tendency to often have grammatical errors, misspellings, and a covfefe here and there in his tweets. Even for Trump, messing up his own wife's name seems to be taking his Twitter mistakes to a whole new level. Someone get this man a copy editor.

Melania had a "successful" kidney surgery on Monday. The White House described the reason for the surgery as a "benign kidney condition," reports People. On Saturday, the White House released an update on her condition in a statement and said, "The First Lady returned home to the White House this morning. She is resting comfortably and remains in high spirits. Our office has received thousands of calls and emails wishing Mrs. Trump well, and we thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out."
