Tomi Lahren Isn’t Backing Down From Her Thoughts and Prayers Comment After Mass Shootings

She believes "more Jesus" could stop gun violence.

Foxs News contributor Tomi Lahren said something you’d totally expect a Fox News contributor to say. TMZ approached the so-called (yeah, I said it) Christian pundit at LAX regarding her previous comments on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting.

The day of the tragedy, Lahren had tweeted, “Can the Left let the families grieve for even 24 hours before they push their anti-gun and anti-gunowner agenda? My goodness. This isn’t about a gun it’s about another lunatic. #FloridaShooting.” Apparently, Lahren isn’t backing down on that blatantly pro-gun (cough...ignorant...cough) tweet, for which she received quite a bit of heat.

While Lahren declined to comment on Trump’s comments that the FBI was too busy focusing on the Russia investigation to thwart Nikolas Cruz, she continued on her pseudo-Christian rants, send her “thoughts and prayers” to those in Florida. Lahren also contended that what America needs, isn’t more gun control, but, “I think more God and more Jesus in society, more compassion, more virtues, more values is going to stop things like this.”

Girl, I don't think that's what they mean by "Jesus saves." Also, tell me the last time "virtue" or "compassion" stopped a 19-year-old from legally purchasing an AR-15. I'll wait...
