Donald Trump Finally Admitted He Isn't a Feminist

We're super surprised by this one.

In case you somehow thought otherwise, Donald Trump has officially confirmed he is not a feminist.

Human troll Piers Morgan shared this “BREAKING NEWS” update on Twitter with a picture of himself and the Donald-in-Chief. “He tells me ‘No, I wouldn’t say I’m a feminist. I mean, I think that would be, maybe, going too far. I’m for women, I’m for men, I’m for everyone,’” Morgan wrote.

Honestly if you're surprised, you're not paying attention since these words are coming from a man who brags about grabbing women by the “pussy” and has been accused of sexual misconduct by over a dozen women. Still, the explanation he provides is a non sequitur and shows that he may not actually understand what feminism is. If Donald is truly “for everyone,” then he would in fact be a feminist. Feminism is not restricted to a narrow, radical set of ideas as many Republicans would have you believe. Feminism is, in its broadest sense, the dedication to one simple truth: that women are people who deserve to be treated equally.

As Newsweek points out, Trump’s non-feminist declaration comes days after he was dragged by Malala Yousafzai, one of the baddest feminists alive right now. During the World Economic Forum in Davos, which Trump also attended, Malala responded to a question regarding the harassment allegations against the U.S. president. “It is just shocking for a second to believe that this is actually happening," she said. "I hope that women stand up and speak out against it.”

The unfortunate thing is that Trump's actions, and this non-feminist declaration, aren't shocking at all. Piers Morgan’s full interview with Trump is going to air Sunday night, but judging from that tweet it doesn’t look like it’s going to include anything we don’t already know.
