Well, we definitely know who got coal in their stocking for Christmas. A Wisconsin-based hairstylist was arrested over the holidays after he allegedly sliced a customer’s ear purposely during a haircut from hell.

According to the Madison Police Department's incident report, a 22-year-old gentleman sat down for a haircut at Ruby’s Salon Friday to have the sides of his head shaved and get a bit of hair taken off the top. For some reason, the man kept moving during the haircut, prompting 46-year-old hairstylist Khaled A. Shabani to allegedly twist his ear. After that, the hairstylist apparently snipped at the man’s ear, causing the customer to bleed. Obviously, that’s a pretty big no-no when you’re sitting in the barber’s chair.

“While it is not a crime to give someone a bad haircut, you will get arrested for intentionally snipping their ear with a scissors,” Madison police public information officer Joel DeSpain said in the incident report.

Shabani ultimately finished the horrifying ordeal with giving the customer cut that looked eerily similar to “Larry from the Three Stooges,” DeSpain continued. The customer ended up leaving and had his head completely shaved by another hairstylist before heading home for the holidays. Shabani, despite his claims that the entire incident was just an accident, was later arrested on charges of mayhem and disorderly conduct while armed, according to the incident report. “We’ve had a few incidents since this one, but this one seems to have gotten the most interest,” a Madison Police Department spokesperson told Complex.
