You probably know Christopher Cantwell, the 36-year-old former drug dealer from New Hampshire, from either that shocking VICE News Tonight documentary Charlottesville: Race and Terror or from his recent viral video in which he cries at the thought of being arrested.

After being called a coward and heavily criticized for his actions in the past few days, Cantwell is back on the defense.

“I have had no trial, no process of any kind, I have only been crucified by Jewish media and financial outlets for daring to suggest white people have a right to exist, to have a history, to have a culture, and to have a nation,” Cantwell wrote on his personal website. He added that, “In reality, I’m just a guy who wants to save his country from communism, and is often quite terrified at how much resistance he meets in doing so.”

His YouTube video garnered a lot of media attention, and many pointed out Cantwell’s hypocrisy. In the VICE documentary, Cantwell admits that his group is violent: “We’ll fucking kill these people if we have to.”

But in the video, he claims, “I want to be peaceful, I want to be law abiding, okay?" Furthermore, he is literally crying at the thought of going to jail, admitting that “I’m armed. I do not want violence with you. I’m terrified I’m afraid you’re going to kill me. I really am.”

But a day after everyone saw him crying on video—he posted the video on YouTube and starred in a VICE documentary, so it’s not like any of the attention should be a shock to him—Cantwell is toughening up again.

“Please be careful. I’m willing to fight and die with you. I’m not a coward. But we are not prepared for the conflict we are about to walk into,” he wrote in a message on the social network Gab.

As a response to being called a coward, Cantwell wrote, “Yeah, cause cowards and feds always jump into brawls risking life, limb, and liberty for the white race.”

Cantwell also wrote on his personal website that he is located “in an undisclosed location just outside of Virginia, preparing to turn myself in to the University of Virginia Police,” and added that his Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and PayPal accounts had been suspended.

“PayPal was the most important part of my financial life, and it has now shut me out,” he wrote.

Cantwell ended his “Charlottesville Aftermath” post on his website by asking, “What racial group besides whites could be treated in this way?” seemingly disregarding centuries of racist policies and practices created by white people throughout the world against all people of color. The fact that he even asked that question should tell you everything you need to know about how misguided and fundamentally stupid this guy is.
