A York Regional police officer is gaining some online fans this weekend, after she spit an impromptu freestyle and dropped some hilarious bars in the process. The incredible moment was captured on Twitter and has since been shared and reposted all over the internet, making Constable Amy Oliver a bit of an overnight celebrity. Within the short clip, Oliver references hip-hop icons like Biggie and Tupac, and even sprinkles in some amazing Canadian references like double-doubles and being polite.

The whole thing went down in a Woodbridge parking lot last Thursday, where Oliver was putting in hours as a paid-duty security guard. After hitting play on the instrumental version of "Still D.R.E.", a freestyle classic, the cop went off and impressed an audience of locals who provided ample doses of hype. Oliver started her barrage of punchlines by letting everyone know that she isn't an average cop: "Yeah, I’m a cop, Region of York, people call me ‘pig’ but what’s wrong with pork?" There were also some fire lines like, "I like my doughnuts Boston cream and my coffee double-double, I try to drink it all before someone starts trouble."

The whole video recieved the coveted cosign from York Regional superiors, who seemed to have enjoyed the event just as much as everyone. Speaking with Huffpost Canada, police spokesperson, Andy Pattenden, said it was good to see an officer connect with locals in a positive way. "The nice thing about it was the reaction from everyone afterwards. It was kind of a cold shoulder in advance and then at the end of it the whole crowd loved her and everyone was giving her high-fives, glad that she was there.''
