Last year’s disturbing trend of creepy clown sightings had everyone on high alert and justified this writer’s borderline coulrophobia. We knew that most of these encounters were pranks in completely poor taste, but still, we couldn’t shake the nightmarish image from our heads. Thankfully, this madness seems to have subsided and we can all rest easy now... or so we thought.

This week has proven to be taxing for those of us afraid of clowns. Not only did the extremely eerie trailer for Stephen King's IT land online, but Canadian coulrophobes were also cursed with perhaps the most triggering real estate listing of all time. If you happen to be looking for homes in Ontario right now, you may want to avoid this spot in Brantford. Sure, it may seem friendly from the outside, but don’t let the pristine lawn and charming exterior deceive you.

Inside this unassuming suburban home exists an army of dormant clowns, and boy are they something else. They may be harmless figurines, but for those of us who shudder at the sight of a big red nose, the home’s decor is the stuff of nightmares. Take a peek at the listing video below, courtesy of the property’s real estate agent, Kyle Jansink.

What the heck was that, right? Well, according to the listing, it can all be yours for just $239,900. VICE reporters also did some digging and discovered the clown collection's true significance. It's a somewhat sad and weirdly comforting story which you can read here. Also, if it’s any consolation, we doubt the previous owners would leave all of their clowns inside the house, but knowing how ghost clowns operate, would you ever feel safe?
