Innisfail woman Shae Pasetti was photographed posing with a small crocodile, whilst grinning and holding up a VB tinnie. The photos were posted to the community page Innisfail News and Views, and met with mixed responses.
Some commenters argued over whether the croc was freshwater or saltwater. Others remarked on its apparent poor health. From the photo, it appears to be missing most of its top jaw.
“What kind of sick person takes photos with a half dead animal?” someone asked. One of Pasetti’s Facebook friends congratulated her on “upgrading from 10 cups of goon to 4 VB’s”, to which she replied: “the VB made me do it.”
At the moment, it’s still unclear whether or not Victoria Bitter will adopt the slogan.
