Barbara and Douglas Fink might just be the luckiest couple in the world. The Edmonton natives are all smiles after taking home a massive jackpot worth a total of $8.1 Million. Surprisingly however, this isn't the first time they've collected big numbers, as the Albertans have somehow won two other lotto jackpots: first in 1989 and another in 2010, which both hovered around $100,000. It's an insane amount of luck, and something that's definitely not lost on the Finks. Speaking with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Barbara shared her utter shock regarding the entire situation. “I knew we had all the numbers, but I didn’t know how many winners there were,” she said. “I called Douglas back before midnight and told him it was more than $8 million!”

The winning ticket was drawn at the end of February, and Barbara took to the WCLC website to confirm the prize. When she realized that her family were the lucky recipients, Fink called her husband. “He didn’t answer, so I waited five minutes and tried again. That time, he picked up. I said, I did it again!” To put it into perspective, the odds of winning Lotto 6/49 are around 1 in 14 million. And because the Finks don't stop winning, this particular ticket was also a free play that arrived from a previous winning ticket. As for what the extremely lucky family plans to do with the newfound wealth, the two are going to share the millions with loved ones.
