Almost everyone knows what it's like to lose their job, so most people are sympathetic when another human being is put out of work. Tomi Lahren is no ordinary person, however, and the divisive rhetoric that won so many fans created just as many enemies happy to see her fail.

Conservative America's rising star came under fire for claiming she was pro-choice on a recent episode of The View, and her job is suddenly in jeopardy. People weren't exactly upset when reports hit that she may be "banned permanently" from The Blaze, and detractors on Twitter had a field day celebrating the news of her (likely brief) demise:

Nice to see Tomi Lahren become a martyr for stupidity and racism as they set up her new office at Fox News.

This seems like a lot of venom for such a young woman — amazingly, she's only 24! — but Lahren's style of commentary was always going to rile up the public. When you equate Black Lives Matter with the Ku Klux Klan, call President Obama a "Jihadist", and anger the Beyhive over a Super Bowl halftime show, you're going to draw the ire of a wide spectrum of people.

Only time will tell if Lahren's pro-choice position will dramatically impact her career. She's alienated the left completely over the last year or so, and if conservative outlets view her pro-choice stance as a non-starter, it'll be tough to find a place she fits in the increasingly divided media landscape.
