A Texas man is a suspect in the murder of his girlfriend as well as that of the girl’s mother and sister, according to the Baytown Police Department. An Amber Alert had been issued for Kirsten Fritch, the girlfriend, who was thought to be missing before police discovered her body Thursday.

At 10:30 a.m. Tuesday police found Fritch’s mother, 37-year-old Cynthia Morris, and Fritch’s sister, 13-year-old Breanna Pavilicek, murdered in their Baytown home, police said in a Facebook post. KHOU reported the bodies had gunshot wounds. Investigators issued the Amber alert for 16-year-old Fritch after noticing she was missing, along with her 21-year-old boyfriend Jesse Dobbs and Morris’ car, a PT Cruiser.

Hours later, Texas City police located the car in an apartment complex across the street from a bar. Fritch wasn’t there and police moved to detain Dobbs, but he resisted arrest and was booked into a Texas City jail. When asked about the womens' deaths and Fritch’s location, Dobbs didn’t offer details.

Police began a search for Fritch Wednesday and found her body in the woods behind the bar Thursday at about 12:40 p.m. Dobbs hasn’t been charged in the murders, though police consider him a suspect in all three. Investigators believe the murders are connected, but don’t have a motive yet since Dobbs has not been cooperative. Dobbs is still in Galveston County Jail for resisting arrest.

Fritch’s grandmother, Barbara DeRamus, told KHOU that Dobbs moved in with Fritch and her family a few weeks ago, adding Morris wanted him out. According to DeRamus, Fritch and Dobbs met online.
