Fox News host Sean Hannity offered a trip to Kenya to President Barack Obama and his family—under the condition that they don't return to the U.S.

Hannity extended the one-way trip offer on his radio show Tuesday, saying he’d get the plane even if it meant asking Donald Trump to charter it. Hannity said the offer covered a trip to any “country” the president chose, naming Canada, Kenya, and Jakarta (a city in Indonesia). Obama's father was from Kenya, and the president spent a few childhood years living in Jakarta.

Hannity said:

None

Hannity doubled down on his comments on Twitter.

Jakarta is where he went to school He told NYTimes in a "first rate accent, the most beautiful sight in the world- call to prayer at sunset" https://t.co/8YuNXQYOHc

The offer came about after a reporter, seeing a satirical article that Obama was going to move to Canada if Trump won, asked whether there was any truth to the move at a White House briefing Monday. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest responded: “He’s [Obama] working very hard to make sure that nobody has to leave the country as a result of an electoral outcome that the president doesn’t support,”

Many have called Hannity’s comments racist—basically telling Obama (and his family) to go back to Africa despite being born here. Like Trump, Hannity was a part of the birther movement that asked Obama to release his long-form birth certificate in 2011, reported Politico. Only recently did Trump admit Obama was a U.S. citizen, in the process falsely blaming the birther movement on Hillary Clinton.
