Man-in-the-red-sweater Ken Bone rode a charming performance at the second Presidential debate to viral stardom. Almost immediately, he was appearing on late night TV, and even getting an invitation to roll one with Tha Dogg. So it only made sense for Bone to engage in that rite of passage of modern fame, the Reddit AMA.
So on Thursday night, Bone jumped in and started answering questions—you can see the results here. But far more interesting than what he said was the account he said it with. Bone signed in using the Reddit account "StanGibson18." It didn't take long for nosy Reddit users to poke around and see that Bone had been interested in far more than energy policy.
Bone had been posting on several 18+ subReddits, including ones called "PreggoPorn," "RealGirls," and "bodyperfection." He also copped to committing insurance fraud:
But most controversially, he weighed on on the Trayvon Martin killing. "From what I read about the case the shooting of Trayvon Martin was justified," he wrote. "Bad guy legally kills kid in self defense. Sucks for everybody."
Congratulations to the Internet on discovering that its human meme is an actual person.
