Federal law enforcement officers reportedly arrested three men on Friday who were part of a so-called "right-wing militia" after uncovering their plot to bomb Muslim Somali immigrants living in a Garden City, Kansas apartment complex, according to a Talking Points Memo report

The men, 49-year-olds Curtis Allen and Gavin Wright, and 47-year-old Patrick Eugene Stein—all from Kansas—were planning to bomb the apartment complex on Nov. 9, the day after the presidential election. Talking Points Memo reports that the men are facing charges of domestic terrorism, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Court documents reveal that the men referred to the immigrants as "goddamn cockroaches" and “fucking raghead bitches." One of the men, Patrick Stein, remarked that "the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim,” according to the affidavit.

He then added that "if you’re a Muslim I’m going to enjoy shooting you in the head [...] the only fucking way this country’s ever going to get turned around is it will be a bloodbath and it will be a nasty, messy motherfucker [...] unless a lot more people in this country wake up and smell the fucking coffee and decide they want this country back...we might be too late, if they do wake up...I think we can get it done."

A court affidavit signed by FBI agent Tracey Jenkins describes the men as belonging to multiple right-wing militia groups called the Crusaders and Kansas Security Force "whose members support and espouse sovereign citizen, anti-government, anti-Muslim, and anti-immigrant extremist beliefs."

The men planned to load multiple vehicles with explosives, which would detonate at each corner of the apartment complex, where about 120 people live, according to Talking Points Memo. They are currently being held at the Sedgwick County jail.
