Prior to Monday night's Presidential debate, former Texas Congressman Steve Stockman was known primarily for having his campaign headquarters condemned and writing weird legislation about magnetic fields. But that all changed during the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, when Trump's mention of Hillary Clinton's emails got Stockman all fired up. The controversial tweet was first noticed by Talking Points Memo.

Stockman is no longer in Congress, having lost the primary in a run for Senate to John Cornyn back in 2014. He was almost a Presidential candidate himself this cycle, for the Constitution Party.
