A California high school cheerleader has been charged in the murder of a homeless man, according to the Los Angeles Times. Hailey Suder, 18, was a cheerleader and senior at Santana High School, located in Santee, Calif. at the time of the crime. She didn't graduate this month, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Despite her Facebook relationship status previously listing her as single, Suder was believed to have been dating one of the two brothers charged in the killing of 50-year-old George Lowery, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported. Both 19-year-old Preston Mostrong and 20-year-old Austin Mostrong admitted to being involved in Lowery's beating.

A GoFundMe setup by Lowery's daughter, Katey Torres, to pay his expenses says the Mostrong brothers have been charged with first degree murder, in addition to torture and assault with a deadly weapon.

According to a spokesperson for the San Diego County district attorney's office, 18-year-old Suder pled not guilty to two felony counts of accessory after the fact. The LA Timesreported the sheriff's homicide investigators didn't say exactly how Suder was connected to the murder.

Lowery was attacked April 24, and his wife of 25 years found him "brutally beaten, bloody, tied up, face down and unconscious," according to the GoFundMe page. Lowery was taken to the hospital and died there days later after suffering a stroke and two brain hemorrhages.

Torres described her father as a "generous man."

"Although he did not have much he was always giving. Anyone he came across loved his personality and he was always talking to people. Anyone he saw that needed help or just needed a smile he'd be there lifting your spirits. If someone was in need he would do what he could to help, no matter how hard the task. If he came across good fortune, he shared it," Torres wrote. "His whole life revolved around his wife Penny. Working and doing any handy work  he could to provide for him and his wife and family."
