Are you bored of the swipe life from Tinder? Need a new fix for your online dating habits? Believe it or not, there's a dating site following the lead of single people who love Bernie Sanders. It's called TrumpSingles.com, a dating website for Trump supporters who want to Make America Great Again.
David Goss, a 35-year-old Republican hailing from Santa Clarita, Calif., came up with the idea of TrumpSingles.com when he realized it’s incredibly difficult to date someone who has opposing political views.
“I think there’s a special stigma when people say they’re supporting Trump, because of some of the brash things that he’s said,” Goss tells the New York Post. “That immediately gets [projected] on his supporters, and it makes it hard for them when trying to date.”
According to the Post, more than 500 Trump fans joined the website when it launched in May. Many users are based in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. The cost to sign up is free, but if you spend $4.95 for a monthly subscription for unlimited access, you’ll be able to send multiple messages instead of one per day. There’s a plan to roll out a mobile app next week.
