The politician stripped bare during a convention aired on C-SPAN. Does this guy do house parties?

C-SPAN isn't necessarily known for its near-nude antics, though that all changed Sunday thanks to the 2016 Libertarian Party National Convention. James Weeks, who is now likely enjoying the greatest Monday of all time, wisely utilized his big C-SPAN moment to remove his clothing in an effort to, I don't know, make C-SPAN cool again?

He's now getting booed off the stage. Any idea how @cspan is doing with this one pic.twitter.com/s6aURJZFEy

Though Weeks' passionate act of political disruption quickly inspired a growing wave of boos at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, a few mindful Libertarians managed to make their way to the stage to bestow what appears to be cash money upon the relatively unclothed chair candidate.

"I'm sorry," Weeks said near the end of his impromptu C-SPAN resurrection party. "That was a dare." Weeks then revealed he was bringing his campaign for party chairman to an end. According to a website for his previous Livingston County Sheriff campaign, Weeks has "always loved freedom" and thus dedicated his life to "achieving a free society, free from an omnipotent state that seems to wish to squeeze every last drop of freedom out of our lives."

For the forthcoming presidential election, the Libertarian Party has chosen the presumably fully clothed duo of former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson and former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld. "This is the highest-profile ticket in the Libertarian Party's history," Nicholas Sarwark, Libertarian Party Chair, said in a press release. "And it comes at a time when Americans yearn for a credible alternative to Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton."
