Does guacamole hide the scent of methamphetamine from drug-sniffing dogs? How about sour cream? Pinto beans? These are all questions a woman probably should have asked before she decided allegedly tried to smuggle methamphetamine inside two large burritos.

A 23-year-old woman from Nogales, Ariz. found out the hard way that tortillas alone won't do the trick when she was arrested while trying to cross the Mexican-American border May 20, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Agents say the woman was pulled aside for further screening after a drug dog alerted them to her. That's when agents allegedly discovered a little more than a pound of meth hidden inside the burritos the woman was carrying in a bag. The street value of the drugs is around $3,000, agents said.

The agencytold CNN the young woman admitted to being a drug mule who was paid $500 to bring the expensive lunch across the border.

It's hardly the most creative way that people have tried to smuggle drugs into the U.S. recently. In the past year or so alone, we've seen stories of smugglers hiding weed inside a tombstone; cocaine inside of breast implants, pumpkinsbananas, and sneakers; and meth hidden inside an Xbox
