Here's one reason to celebrate 4/20: Weed gives people more orgasms. Or, at least, being a smoker does, according to one survey.
The Singles in America Survey, which popular dating site Match conducted with more than 5,000 singles across the U.S., found a few correlations you might not expect between your smoking habits and your love life.
According to its findings, singles who have smoked pot before are way more likely (109 percent more, to be exact) to have multiple orgasms. They also just have lots of orgasms in general, enjoying 3.6 percent more per sexual encounter than non-smokers.
Between this, cannabis-based lube, and vaginal suppositories made with the marijuana plant, it looks like weed is a vagina's best friend.
The survey also found that San Francisco is the best place for stoners to seek love, followed in order by San Antonio, Nashville, Denver, and Seattle.
In addition, participants bucked stoner stereotypes. Those supporting legalization were more likely to exercise, have graduate degrees, and be employed.
That doesn't mean everyone's down to date stoners, though. Less than a third of respondents were—though fewer people considered weed a turnoff (69.88 percent) than heavy drinking (77.74 percent) or cigarette smoking (75 percent). Millennials were the most tolerant generation, with 32.91 percent saying they'd date a regular weed smoker, while 28.61 percent of Baby Boomers said the same.
It's surprising, then, that Boomers are more likely to be 420-friendly than their kids. Fifty-six percent of them had smoked before, compared to 47.34 percent of Gen-Xers and 40.47 percent of nillennials, and Boomers were also the generation most likely to support legalization.
Don't ask your parents what they're up to today.
