When it comes to orgasming during sex, for many women, not all positions are created equal.
So, for its latest episode of "Ask a Porn Star," the adult site WoodRocket asked a bunch of female performers, "What position makes you orgasm the most?"
Though it might have a reputation as a less exciting position, several porn stars said "missionary"—or, affectionately, "mish"—citing the ability to kiss and make eye contact as a plus. According to a survey by LifeStyles condoms, missionary is also the favorite sex position of more than a third of women and a fifth of men in the U.S.
LifeStyles' survey also found doggy style, cowgirl, and reverse cowgirl among women's favorites—and porn stars agreed.
"The position that I orgasm the quickest in is cowgirl because I can move my body to get to the little nooks and crannies where a dick needs to go," says Claire Robbins.
A lot of the women said pretty much any position will do it for them, which is interesting given that only 25 percent of women in the general population consistently orgasm just from sex.
"These porn stars get the opportunity to explore their bodies and their sexuality for a living," WoodRocket creator Lee Roy Myers told NTRSCTN in a statement. "They get to work with many different types of partners in many different positions."
Whatever it is, porn stars are clearly doing something right.
