Halle Berry has been out promoting her latest flick, Cloud Atlas, lately and changed up her typically laid-back style for the cover of Germany's edition of Interview Magazine. The 46-year-old actress donned a shiny blue tunic, bug-eyed sunglasses, and a huge afro for the spread.
In the interview with director Tom Tykwer, she talks about breaking her foot on set. “It was a nightmare," she says. "After three days of you chasing me down cobbled streets in high heels, I stumbled over a silly stone in some garden. And I thought to myself, ‘Right, that’s it.’”
Berry went on to talk about how moved she was by the movie—which had a star studded cast including Tom Hanks, Jim Broadbent, and Hugo Weaving. “I didn’t expect being moved so intensely by this movie," she says. "I was exhausted after watching it for the first time. We sat in our hotel room till three in the morning and talked and talked."
Cloud Atlas is in theatres now.
