Yesterday, Rashida Jones' comment (made during a press interview for Celeste and Jesse Forever) encouraging John Travolta to come out of the closet made headlines.
Quickly after her quotes spread like wildfire, however, Jones took to her Twitter to apologize for her remarks.
"Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta," she tweeted. "I sincerely apologize. Nobody's personal life is my business."
In the same interview she made the slip about Travolta, she also praised Frank Ocean and Ricky Martin for being open about their sexuality.
