Lindsay Lohan and cars are like oil and water.
Yesterday, while reportedly traveling from the Chanel store in Beverly Hills to the Chateau Marmont, she rear-ended a silver Mustang that was stopped at a stoplight on Sunset Boulevard. She was traveling in a rented black Porsche just like the one she rode in when she crashed on the Pacific Coast Highway last month.
Unlike that accident, which saw her passenger window smashed and rear bumper taken off, as well as her lying to the police about who was driving, this was a much lower-impact collision. The woman traveling in the Mustang wasn't injured, and she said a man exited the Porsche, apologized and gave her a phone number. He explained they had to keep it moving, because paparazzi was following them.
"Lindsay was NOT driving dangerously," a source told x17. "It was merely a minor accident in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic in the Sunset Plaza neighborhood."
After the Pacific Coast Highway crash, Lindsay was said to have been given a full-time driver by the producers of Liz & Dick, which she was shooting at the time. But perhaps she needs a chauffeur even when she's not in production on a new movie. Or, we can just chalk it up to the fact that she's human, and accidents happen.
