Lindsay Lohan is set to play Elizabeth Taylor "Liz and Dick," an upcoming biopic. But if Rosie O'Donnell had her way, she definitely wouldn't cast Lilo in that role.
"I feel very sorry for her," O'Donnell told Matt Lauer and Donny Deutsch on the "Today" show. "I think she needs a lot of time away ... She's had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including 'SNL.' She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she's not in a place to work."
Deutsch shot back, "She's our generation's Elizabeth Taylor," which really got O'Donnell going.
"You're out of your mind," she said. "You're a crackhead. The last thing she did good she was sixteen. I don't think she's right for the role and I don't think she's capable at this point to portray that character."
Lindsay was not defenseless, however. “I think Rosie should focus on her own career," her spokesman Steve Honig told ABC News, "and stop worrying about everybody else’s.”
