Take anything you read in The Enquirer with a grain of salt (then again, they did break the John Edwards affair story), but they're insisting that Anne Hathaway is privately dissing Jessica Biel for comments she made about competing for roles with her in the upcoming "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Les Miserables."
"In truth, Anne feels she’s a true leading lady who has been nominated for Academy Awards and Golden Globes, while Jessica’s movie career doesn’t even compare,” says an insider. “... [N]ot only does Anne feel she’s superior on-screen, she also believes that Jessica showed a lack of professionalism by even making the comparison in the first place!”
The 'insider' goes on to say that Anne sees Jessica's comments as a pre-meditated move to get casting directors to look at them on an even scale, which she insists they're not.
"Anne’s ready to take this fight to the next level," says the insider. "Anne let Jessica know that if she does another interview with a writing, casting director or director equating the two, she wants a face-to-face meeting. And everyone’s waiting for more fur to fly.”
