Reports came out Friday (November 5th) that due to the scandal involving a paternity suit with 20-year-old Mariah Yeater, Selena Gomez dumped her boyfriend Justin Bieber.
A source close to the pair said Bieber's camp was in damage control and insisted Gomez stick around a few more weeks because if she bailed now it would appear as if the reports of Biebs fathering Yeater's 4-month-old son Tristyn were true.
Beieber will reportedly take a paternity test when he returns from Europe to prove his innocence. A rep for Bieber told Access Hollywood that the reports of their breakup are false and that the pair are still an item.
For her part, Gomez seems to be standing by her man. The two were photographed in Belfast, Northern Ireland over the weekend, where she hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards, and Justin, among others, performed.
