Are Eva Longoria and Matt Barnes a new Hollywood couple? Ehh, not so fast. Longoria was spotted picking Barnes up at LAX earlier this week, leading to speculation that the two might be getting together to do the nasty. That, however, is far from the truth, according to their reps, who say they're "just friends."
And Longoria herself has denied the rumors. Back on October 30th, after the New York Post reported that they were seen getting flirty at a dinner in New York, Longoria wrote on her WhoSay page:
"Once again, press gets it wrong, matt barnes and I are not dating! We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer. . Why is the truth never the headline? why did I bother to comment when they put your statement at end of articles? #stillannoying"
But picking someone up by yourself from LAX, in the middle of the day, especially when you're a big star like Longoria, is going to lead to speculation. She reportedly drove him home and they spent hours there.
Just friends?
