David LaChapelle's suit against Rihanna for cribbing from his photography for her "S&M" video is kaput. The New York Post reports that the two have settled on an undisclosed figure to put the lawsuit to bed.
“David is happy with the settlement," said his publicist, Jaret Keller. Keller declined to comment on how much the settlement was for, specifically.
"This is not personal, it’s strictly business," LaChapelle said when he launched the suit. "Musicians commonly pay to sample music or use someone’s beats and there should be no difference when sampling an artist’s visuals.”
