Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez— both having spent their childhoods reared at the house that Disney built— connected once again at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards, which took place last night (August 7th) at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.
Demi took home two awards— the “Choice Summer Song” award and the “Acuve Inspiration Award."
"You guys are what got me through this last year," she told the audience.
Not surpisingly, Gomez swept the award categories she was nominated in, taking home five trophies— "Choice TV Actress," "Female Hottie," and with her music group The Scene "Choice Single" trophy for "Who Says" and "Love Song" for "Love You Like a Love Song."
We had no doubt about the type of talent Disney pumps out, but seeing these two together in a pair of cute dresses just confirmed it once again.
Not only that, but they look oddly alike. Not that it's a bad thing.
