Demi Lovato Defends Her "Heroin Killed The Radio Star" Sticker

Demi Lovato got herself in hot water with Amy Winehouse fans yesterday when she was spotted sporting a sticker on her cell phone that said "Heroin Killed The Radio Star."

She took to her twitter account earlier today and defended herself, claiming she's had the sticker on her phone for some time now.

“I’ve had the same sticker encouraging sobriety in a cool way for over a month now,” Demi wrote. “No other reason than to inspire a younger generation to stay sober rather than falling into peer pressure and bad habits like so many have. #relax."

MTV News reports that the sticker was designed by a clothing and accessories line called Sober Is Sexy. Proceeds from the line's sales go to various substance abuse programs. They also sell t-shirts, tote bags and assorted other clothings and accessories which feature anti-drug messages.

Now that all that drama's out of the way, enjoy Demi's latest pictures, including her photo spread from the new Elle magazine.
