Everyone loves Jessie J, right? But the British-bred singer/songwriter behind such jams as Miley Cyrus's "Party In The U.S.A." and her own smash "Price Tag" has sort of perplexed American audiences.
Maybe it's because she seems so made up. So overdone. So unnatural. Not that we don't like that sort of stuff on this side of the pond (see: Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and anyone else on the Top 40 radio charts).
Jessie J may be looking to change that perception of her, though. She showed up to the UK Glamour Women of the Year Awards on June 7th looking, well, normal. Not completely without make-up, but definitely not the blood red lipstick she's known to wear. And not the razor sharp bangs.
She looked... human. We like it.
