Does everyone in Barbados look like Rihanna? We wish, but no. Still, that's not stopping the pop singer from acting as the new ambassador for tourism to the small island country where she was born and raised. She just locked in a three-year promotional deal with the Barbados Tourism Authority to be the face of the country.
"Barbados is a place like no other and one of the reasons for this is the spirit and national pride of our people," the singer said. "I want each and every visitor to this beautiful island to experience what makes this destination different from all others and that is the spirit and warmth of my fellow Barbadians."
RiRi will promote the beaches and other attractions the island has to offer via advertisements, touring and other various media engagements. She's kicking things off with a concert in Bridgetown, the country's capital city.
