With three big movies coming out this summer (Friends With Benefits, The Help, and Crazy, Stupid, Love), you'd be hard pressed to find an actress hotter than Emma Stone right now. It only makes sense that the 22-year-old actress snagged the cover of Vanity Fair's August 2011 issue. Besides killing it for the cover shoot, Stone recounts the moment when she hit rock bottom in show biz during an audition for NBC's Heroes. Peep an excerpt from the story:
“I could hear that, in the other room, a girl had just gone in and they were saying, ‘You are our pick … On a scale of 1 to 10 you’re an 11,’” Stone recalls, before Hayden Panettiere—who ended up with the role of Claire Bennet—walked out of the room. “I went home and just had this meltdown.”
While Hayden might have gotten the best of Emma a few years back, it looks as if the tables have turned. Nowadays the Easy A star is running the game and laughing all the way to the bank.
