Katy Perry and Russell Brand have money to blow. To wit, they just copped a $6.5 million dollar home in Hollywood. It's actually an upgrade of their other spot, which they put on the market last month for a little more than $3 million.
They bought the new digs, a Spanish-style mansion, from Daniel Laikin, the former CEO of National Lampoon. Laikin was sentenced to 45 months in prison last year for stock manipulation.
Get this though, the house was actually used for one season of "The Bachelor." We hope Perry and Brand sterilize the place!
Three acres, 9 bathrooms, seven bedrooms and a pool... "There's a stranger in my bed, There's a pounding my head/ Glitter all over the room, pink flamingos in the pool/ I smell like a minibar, DJ's passed out in the yard/ Barbie's on the barbeque..." Those lyrics make so much more sense now.
