Although Beyonce's new album, 4, will undoubtedly debut at the top of the Billboard chart next week, several critics were less than receptive to her latest work. Some have complained it's too ballad-heavy while others are wary of her maturing sound and changing image. Her more reserved style might be due to all of that family talk surrounding the 29-year-old pop superstar, who once commented that she's always planned on having a baby at 30.
But that would just turn the worldwide stage that Beyonce's been headlining into one big open mic night. In other words, it might be time for every other female singer to step up, most notably, those who've remained in the former Destiny's Child frontwoman's shadows, including her former fellow DC band member, Letoya Luckett. Not to mention, those who unsuccessfully left the Pussycat Dolls for their own solo fame can finally get some time in the spotlight.
It goes without saying, there are a number of present and former pop group girls vying for their own success after being overshadowed by a clear megastar in their respective groups, such as these 10 Overshadowed Girl Group Members.

you must investigate much more about Letoya's history. She has two number one albums. Her first album called "Letoya" debuts number one in billboard 200 and r&b/hip hop chart. It obtained platinum status (Kelly don't have platinum albums so what?). The second album from Letoya was "Lady Love" #12 Billboard 200 and #1 R&B.

To add up Letoya stars in Treme and even sang in the last episode, she also had the leading role in Preacher's Kid, a role in Killers with Ashton K then will be at the Essence fest for a VIP screening to her latest project along Tar J Henson From the Rough. So yes, B4 blogging, please research...

LeToya may not be Beyonce or Kelly, but imo she is BETTER than Kelly! LeToya is a Business woman, she owns TWO Boutiques in Houston Texas!!! LeToya is working on her 3RD Solo Album, and she just finished her 3RD Movie with Taraiji P Henson, Michael Clark Duncan and one of the dudes from "Harry Potter". LeToya is Beautiful and talented and the ONLY reason Kelly is more known than her is because she was in Destiny's Child much longer, and there when they were more successful!! I do like Kelly however, so I'm not hating on her so don't take what I'm saying the wrong way! Oh and as mentioned, LeToya has a recurring role on HBO's Series "Treme"..
