The Cannes film festival kicks off today, but it was a film with way less fanfare that brought Blake Lively to Paris a few days early.
Designer Karl Lagerfeld premiered a short film, "The Tale Of A Fairy," at Chanel's 2011-12 Cruise show on Monday night, and Lively, who's the new face of Chanel Mademoiselle handbags, was on hand.
As for the film, Lagerfeld described it as an homage to the wealthy women who splurge on his high-priced designs without even thinking twice. The 25-minute film is said to be shot mostly in black and white and takes place in mansion in the French Riviera.
Maybe his next film with star Lively?
