She wasn't the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl— that coveted slot went to Russian model Irina Shayk— but Kate Upton is surprisingly the swimsuit model with all the buzz right now.
Perhaps it has to do with the flood of additional Upton galleries and outtakes that seem to hit the internet every week. A little social media marketing goes a long way.
Whatever the case, just add these outtakes from the Swimsuit Issue to the vault. Because they are certainly up there in terms of the hottest Upton pics we've seen thus far. Probably even better than the ones that were included in the actual magazine.
