We've got to hand it action heroines. Not only do they have to battle villainous robots and criminals, but they also have to combat the stereotype that their screen presence is for purely aesthetic pleasure. We know how much that discredits those women who train day in and day out to cultivate the killer moves for maximum pwnage. Yet with all of that said, you can't be mad at male (and even female) enchantment. Beat us to the ground all you want, Lara Croft, Foxy Brown, and Sarah Connor, but everyone is still hopelessly attracted to you. The fact that they're not needy, exhausting damsels-in-distress only adds to that. The same applies to the latest femme fatale flick, Sucker Punch, in theaters tomorrow. Director Zack Snyder's gorgeous fighting quintet have inspired us to take a look back at the sexiest female leads in action film history.
