Welp, there goes that rumor. Nicki Minaj will not be a judge or much of anything on Simon Cowell's new show, X-Factor.
The show, set to air on Fox this September, only has two confirmed judges so far— Cowell and L.A. Reid, who defected from his job as Chairman of Def Jam Records last week to join the program.
Nicki's name was floated earlier this week as a possible third judge, but sources close to the rapper shot that rumor down.
"There's nothing going on with [X-Factor]," the source said.
Apparently this was all just misinformation leaked to the press to drum up more interest in the show.
Ohhh— duh!— that old trick. #fail
