We already named Irina Shayk #1 in our list of the 50 Hottest Russian Women. Now she's moving on up in the world. Last night, she was announced as the cover girl for Sports Illustrated's 2011 Swimsuit Issue during the "Late Show with David Letterman." Her and 9 other models competing for the cover read the Top 10 Good Things About Appearing In The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, then the cover was unveiled while they were backstage. "There were 10 models there to do [Letterman's] Top 10 List, and nobody knows until the last minute who the cover will be," she said. "And then I saw it, and I couldn’t believe it.” Despite it being her first time on the cover, this is actually the fifth Swimsuit Issue she's been in. She was shot in the Philippines and Hawaii for it.
