Who's That Girl? Meet "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Call us geeks, but we're seriously geeked for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. We've already chatted up director Edgar Wright, congratulated star Michael Cera on his first kinda-sorta tough guy movie role, and now we're gonna turn our sights on Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who plays "Ramona," Scott Pilgrim's love interest and the reason he's taking on the world. MEW's a North Carolina native, and yes, we'd love for her to take her shirt off and spin it like a helicopter (word to Petey Pablo). She's had a career for some time before Pilgrim as you'll see with these clips of 5 roles that made us notice Ms. Winstead...

Sitting around the campfire in Monster Island (2004)
• MEW established her Scream Queen status in this schlocky camp horror flick that aired on MTV. One of her co-stars was Carmen Electra, but thankfully Mary didn't contract Electra's Total Inability to Act-itis.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having a bad drive-thru day in Final Destination 3 (2006)
• In the latest film from the horror franchise, MEW plays a girl who can envision her friends' deaths. Imagine if you had that power in real life? You could be like, "Hey buddy, I'll bet you twenty bucks you're gonna die tomorrow," and they'd be like, "You're on, man!" and then you'd totally win the bet...but then they'd never pay you. Stupid dead friends.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heating up the casting couch in Factory Girl (2006)
• Mary stepped out of the horror genre for this Sienna Miller-starring Edie Sedgwick biopic. It only cost a dime to cop a feel in the '60s? Damn, inflation is a mother.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Playing a finer diner waitress in Bobby (2006)
• Winstead plays a waitress who aspires to be an actress in this drama about the assassination of Robert Kennedy. Oh wait, should we have given you a "spoiler alert" before we told you the assassination bit?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A flexible dance audition in Make It Happen (2008)
• MEW sheds her Scream Queen tag for this Coyote Ugly-esque film and gained street cred with this audition routine clip. All black everything, you dig!
